What’s Covered:

For new and replacement doors we warranty against defects in workmanship including the labor provided by Precision Garage Door as part of the installation. The garage door manufacturer provides its own separate warranty to you for the door. Our warranty does NOT cover the door. Precision Garage Door upgrades the door hardware and does provide a separate warranty for the parts. Precision Garage Door will correct any defective workmanship and, if a part is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, we will repair or replace that defective part, at no charge for labor. For repairs to an existing door we warranty any defects in materials or workmanship, including installation, for new and rebuilt parts and the labor furnished by Precision Garage Door. Precision Garage Door will repair, or if repair is not possible, will replace any defective part or workmanship at no charge for materials or labor.

How Long Does Our Coverage Lasts:

Our warranty starts when repairs or any installation is complete. For repairs to an existing garage door, the warranty runs from 90-days or limited lifetime depending on what repairs were done and the options chosen by the customer. For new door installations, the labor warranty continues for as long as the manufacturer's warranty. The upgraded hardware is warranted for 5 years (which is twice as long as the warranty provided by the orginial hardware manufacturer). This warranty terminates if the original customer sells or no longer owns the repaired or new garage door. The warranty cannot be transferred.

What Is Not Covered

If anyone other than Precision Garage Door works the door, its parts or the opener, the warranty is void. This warranty does not cover any materials or workmanship provided by anyone other than Precision Garage Door. This warranty does not cover consequential or incidental damages, such as damage or injury to a person or property because a garage door did not operate properly. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
